How To Install Flash Player On Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is the latest galaxy tab series launched by Samsung.This tab is launched in three versions SM-T311,SM-T310 and SM-T211. In this tutorial I will teach you to install adobe flash player on galaxy tab 3 on all its versions.

Note : Before doing anything enable "Unknown Sources" on your galaxy tab 3 otherwise you won't be able to install flash player apk.To do this goto Settings>Security>Unknown Sources check it.

This tutorial will teach you to install flash player on samsung galaxy tab 3.This tutorial can be applied to install flash player on all versions of galaxy tab 3 like T311,T310, T211 and galaxy tab 3 lite SM-T110. Before installation download the following files below.

  • UC browser HD for android download
  • Phony plugin for Mozilla firefox for android
We will cover the topic of flash player installation on galaxy tab 3 by using Mozilla firefox,default android browser and UC browser HD.So lets start with UC browser.

Installing Adobe Flash Player On Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Using Default Android Browser

  • Download and install flash player for android 4.1 jellybean from above link.
  • Now open default android browser and goto Settings>Advanced>Enable plug-ins>Always on.
  • Now goto youtube and open it in desktop mode by clicking the menu on top right and selecting "Desktop".


  • Now when you will play any youtube video in default android browser then it will play.


Installing Adobe Flash Player On Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Using UC Browser HD For Android

  • Download and install UC browser HD from above link.If installation is blocked then goto Settings>Security>check Unknown Sources.
  • Install adobe flash player for Samsung galaxy tab 3.
  • Now open UC browser HD and click the menu button next to search button on top right and choose 'Settings'.
  • Now choose 'Advanced Settings' and click 'Flash Plug-in' then choose 'Auto'.

  • Now goto Youtube.If mobile version opens then open it in desktop mode then click any video on youtube.You will see that video will play in the browser itself and not in the youtube android app.

Installing Adobe Flash Player On Samsung Galaxy tab 3 Using Mozilla Firefox For Android
  • Download and install Mozilla firefox from the playstore link given above.
  • After installing open it and goto settings>content>plugins>enabled.
  • Now goto any flash website you will be able to view flash in Mozilla firefox on galaxy tab 3 and won’t see any blue lego cube in place of plugin.


But some websites hide their flash content from mobile devices.So if you visit such a website then you might not be able to view flash.So you need to install a firefox android addon called ‘phony’.The phony addon will trick websites that you are browsing from a pc and not from galaxy tab 3 tablet or phone.Goto Mozilla addons website and install ‘phony’.After installation relaunch Mozilla firefox.The link to install this addon is given below.

    It doesn´t work for me. I tried the 3 ways and always show the same "a plugin is needed to display this content" :S Helppp. I have a galaxy tab 3.

      It will only work on galaxy tab 3 7.0. The flash player will not work on all websites because today most websites have left using it and they are moving to HTML5.

    I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 (10.1) and I got it for school. Sadly since I do a lot of my classes online Flash Player is required to get a lot of my assignments done. Every time I go to get the app from the online app store it says it isn't compatible with my device. So I was wondering if these steps would work on my device... I use the default browser currently, but I wanted Firefox, but when I downloaded the app for it (again from the app store) it cause my tablet to slow down tremendously and the lag was awful. So any advice on either subject, getting Flash Player and/or Firefox to work dependably on my tablet, would be greatly welcome. Please and Thank you.

      Hello Kitt please use UC Browser HD for android and install the flash player app that I provided in the post. UC browser hd is best browser and it wont slow down your tab 3 10.1.

    I got it to work on Firefox. Thanks so much! @Emptieness Go on your computer (won't work right on Galaxy Tab 3 internet screen) and download the adobe apk file. Make sure when you go into Firefox after loading that it is listed as Request Desktop site. Once I did that, it worked.

    It worked using Firefox for me (Tab 3). Took all of 20 seconds. Went back to watch a video I couldn't before and it opened right up.

      I checked the link. It is of google drive and is working perfectly. When you go to this page, simply press ctrl+s to download all the files. If still doesn't work then download UC browser HD from google play.

    Hello. We purchased samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0 for our boys for christmas. We want to load abcmouse.com on their device but it doesnt have adobe. Any advise or suggestions??

      First of all install flash player on tab 3 with the tutorial above. Now use either UC browser HD or default browser of tab 3. If nothing works then try puffin web browser for android. And in UC browser HD browse the website abcmouse.com in desktop mode not in mobile mode. To enable desktop mode in UC HD check the settings.

    UC browser might not be supporting google drive. I suggest you to use a pc then download all files in zip package by pressing ctrl+s and then transfer it to your tab.

    Is it possible to view a live video on samsung tab3? I try to watch live football streaming on my samsung tab3 but it does't work. Any advice?

      Yes watching Live videos on galaxy tab 3 is possible but it will depend whether the website is supported by the flash player of your tab 3. Well all sites are not supported by android flash player. By the way which site are you visiting for live videos, tell me if I get a solution I will tell you soon.

      you can try livesoccertv.eu, feed2all.eu. There are many more. Search in google and see which works best on your tab 3.

    Hello, I recently purchased a Samsung galaxy tab 3 for school and my online assignment needs flash player. Now, everything was going smoothly while following the steps shown here until I got to phony. It says I need to install firefox when I already have it installed. But that didn't bother me so much so I uninstalled and installed it again from the link they have there. I installed it again and it still doesn't allow me to install phony. Please help. Thank you.

      phony is old plugin. Enable desktop mode in firefox, that will be enough, your problem will be solved. Desktop mode works same as phony.

      use UC browser HD and dont reset your tablet. Make sure the adobe flash plugin is installed.

      I would suggest you to use UC Browser HD for android. Download it from play store. Or check the tutorial.
