Android APK Files are actually android apps with a .apk file extension. APK stands for android package. Official android apps can be downloaded from Google play store directly to your device. - Open ‘Settings>General Settings>Security’
- Now under ‘Phone administration you will find ‘Unknown Sources’ ( Allow Installation of Apps Other than Play Store). Enable it.
- After enabling the ‘Unknown Sources’ a security popup will open. Tap OK to close it.
- Now check ‘Verify Sources’ (Disallow or Warn before Installation of apps which can cause harm). If this option enabled then harmful or malicious apps will not be installed.
- Download the android apk files and copy them to your phone’s sdcard either internal or external.
- Use ES file explorer to locate the apk files.
- Tap any file to start installation. Wait for few seconds.
- The app is installed.
