ReplyDeletewhat does it says?
DeleteI have att S3 version, I heard rooting your AT&T version will trip your flash counter, is it true?
ReplyDeleteYes,Flash counter changes to one after rooting any android device.
Deletesorry for my lack of experience on this but can you tell me is it good or bad?
DeleteRooting is not recommended if you are not a developer.I myself not rooted my phone because rooting makes your android more vulnerable to threats and bugs.
DeleteI ment it for TRIPPING FLASH COUNTER. Is it bad or good if it trips flash counter?
DeleteSamsung Mobile uses a custom binary counter to keep track of any Modding of firmwares and kernels done by users of their phones. Any flashing of roms/kernels not signed by Samsung will trigger an increase in this counter which can be viewed by putting your phone into download mode.
DeleteWhy is this important to you? This officially voids your warranty and tells warranty centers that you have broken your warranty which can give them rights to refuse or charge you for servicing your phone. Flashing a stock Samsung Note firmware signed by Samsung may also trigger the counter.
You can use triangle away to reset the flash counter.
i read about triangle away method, but can i root with this method, install TRIANGLE AWAY via app store and remove flash counter count?
Deleteyes you can use the triangle away to reset the flash counter..
