Manually Update AT&T Moto X To Stock Android 4.4.2 Firmware

Recently AT&T pushed out an official android 4.4.2 kitkat update for the Moto X phone. AT&T Moto X users have already received the update notification that automatically updates the device to android 4.4.2. But if you haven't received the update notification on your Moto X then you can manually update it to android 4.4.2. The new update comes with several bug fixes and software enhancements. The latest AT&T Moto X update is 165.44.1.ghost_att.ATT.en.US.

What's New In Android 4.4.2 For AT&T Moto X

• Printing documents and pictures: Added support for printing photos, Google Docs, GMail messages, and other content via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services like Google Cloud Print and HP ePrinters.
• Improved battery life: Fixed bugs which caused a small number of users to experience shorter battery life after upgrading to Android 4.4.
• Fixed email sync delays: Fixed a bug that could cause email services like Microsoft Exchange to experience intermittent delays in data synchronization.
• International roaming fix: Fixed a bug that caused data connectivity issues for AT&T Moto X users while traveling outside the US.

Warning: After updating your Moto X you can't downgrade it.

Update AT&T Moto X To Stock Android 4.4.2 Firmware

• Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
• Choose "About phone".
• Now select "System updates".
• Select "Download". After the software is downloaded, select "Install".
• After the update is installed, your phone will reboot automatically.
• Your phone is now updated to 165.44.1.ghost_att.ATT.en.US android 4.4.2 kitkat.
