Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 has received an android 4.3 jellybean update named as XXUENC3. This update comes with bug fixes, overheating issues fixed in note 2 and wi-fi bug fixes and improved gaming performance. You can update your note 2 by using Samsung KIES or OTA by using your smartphone itself. Note: This is an official update so, after flashing the rom your note 2 will lose root access. If you have installed custom roms like paranoid android, AOKP or CM10 then they will be replaced with the official rom and also the custom recovery will be replaced with stock recovery only if you are using KIES.
Pre-Requisites
Before you install android 4.3 jellybean on your galaxy note 2 you should backup the entire data stored on your phone like sms messages, calls, contacts and whatsapp database etc.We can’t held responsible for whatever that goes wrong with your device. If you do not want to update your galaxy note 2 manually then use Samsung KIES if your device is running stock Samsung android firmware and is not rooted. You decide whether you want to apply this tutorial or not, but if your device is rooted and is running a custom firmware then you won’t be able to update your galaxy note via KIES and you are only left with manually updating the device.
