LAN or Ethernet cable is a fast way to transfer data between two computers or two laptops or a laptop and a computer. LAN cables can transfer data from one computer to other at speeds more than 50 MBps. This is much faster than USB 3.0 because USB 3.0 works fast only with faster storage devices. Suppose you have bought a new laptop/notebook and most of your data is stored on your older desktop's hard drive. Now you want to transfer the data from old PC hard drive to new laptop/notebook hard disk. Then you can connect both systems via LAN cable and transfer files at super high speeds upto 70 MBps depending on hard drive rpm. But connecting the cable is not enough, you have to make several settings. I am going to teach you how to connect two computers with a LAN or Ethernet cable and transfer data at high speeds.
